$2200 home machine for nugget/pearl ice

I am looking for a home machine that produces chewable ice. There is one for $2200 that produces PEARL ice. Does anyone have experiene with it.
Also I read there is a machine coming out on 7-28-2015 that produces opal ice,and is considerably cheaper, which I think is also chewable, but it only produces 3lbs a day and looks a little light compared to the undercounter models>

We are building a house and I want to have nugget ice for all the grandkids.
Is there anytihing else for less than $2500 which would produce nugget/pear/opal ice?
