Possible medical based reasons for ice chewing.

Iron

I started chewing ice about 4 weeks ago. After 3 weeks of obsessed behavior, I went to my doctor. She was relunctant to do blood work until I told her the Red Cross had turned me down to give blood. Well guess what? I have low iron.

I have taking 325 mg of Ferrous sulfate (iron) a day. How long will it take to feel better?
