I agree with you guys that the "cloudy" ice tastes the best. I buy it by the bag full at a gas station near my work. There's also a Whole Foods near me that his ice machines for people who want a drink of water. I take zip lock bags and actually fill them up. I am sure people think I am absolutely nuts. *Sigh*

Ideally, no, but if the water used to make it isn't filtered very well, if there's lots of minerals/chlorine/fluoride/etc. in the water, you can definitely taste it.
