Why do you chew ice?

Postby La Neige » Fri Dec 15, 2006 7:46 pm

I started because the trainer at my highschool would give ice to injured athletes, and then, when they felt they didn't need it anymore and they were waiting for their parents to pick them up or whatever, they would sit around on the grass eating it. It was always really hot out, and I really envied them their yummy, cold ice too (but I could never bring myself to fake an injury and she refused to allow non-injured athletes to have any, even though there was more than enough ice to go around). So one day it clicked: eat ice at home! And thus my addiction was born.
