I have had gastric bypass and I have heard several other people that have undergone weight loss surgery state they crave ice...related to anemia is what I am also told.... :?:

Hi, I'm Jayme. I had Gastric Bypass in June '03. I started my habit while I was pregnant with my 3rd child. It started about my 5th month in November '04. Been chewing even since.

YEAH THAT'S HOW I FELT TOO!! BUT YOU KNOW, WE'RE NOT ALONE ...THERE IS SOOOOOO MANY OF US .. HM M... I'M CHEWING ICE RIGHT NOW IT'S SO GOOD!! HAHA..

I understand taht eating things like ice and such is a disorder called pica pass4sure ccie recertification
but are there any really bad side effects of eating cornstarch i have a friend who craves and eats cornstarch can she get sick from it
