Ice Slithers

I have an automatic ice maker but I also like to use ice trays. Lately if I cannot make it to my store ( lol my store) to get the ice I like, I fill the ice tray about half full and then turn it on its side until the water is almost ready to fall out of the tray. When it freezes they are little ice slivers. It is the best!
