What ice machine to make Sonic ice?

Does anyone know what company manufactures the ice maker for Sonic? Does anyone know if a smaller residential model exists?

I just joined this site & love it,,,,your post was a while back but,,,,, not long ago our newspaper had a story about this home that was built it had a full size sonic ice maker it cost about 1500.00 if you are still looking for an ice maker like that I would email the sonic folks & ask them about the ice makers,,,, I would love to have one too but thats too much for me to spend on a ice maker right now,,,,,hope you find or found what your looking for!!!!!!

We bought a VitaMix and now make smoothies and can have ultra fine ice (have to use water/liquid with ice then drain it if you want ice by itself) so haven't been looking any further for Sonc Ice. Maybe next year I may start my search again. Thanks for the suggestion of emailing Sonic.

I would love to have that sonic ice maker myself..I called and they won't tell you for some reason....If I had that maker in my house. that would mean a over dose for me hahaha! on Ice..I would love it.
And I still want that Ice maker....
