Twelve steps

Step One: Pick a glass from the cuppoard...peferably a large tumbler, and definitely glass in leiu of plastic if possible.
Step Two: Goto the fridge
Step Three: Adjust settings of the ice maker from cubed to crushed (NOTE:Like the toilet seat, this too is not how I left it thanks to the man in my house)
Step Four: Holding cup against lever under ice side of maker, fill cup three quarters of the way full with crushed ice.
Step Five: Quick inspection of glass for whole cubes that accidentally slipped in, and for any potential "floaties" that seem to find their way in to my cup.
Step Six: Holding cup against level on oposite side of fridge, fill cup to approximately a half inch below the rim of the glass.
Step Seven: Check once again for potential "floaties".
Step Eight: Let the glass sit for a minute till ice begins to fuse
Step Nine: Drink the entire glass of water, leaving only the ice
Step Ten: Place your hand over the top of the glass and gently but firmly shake the ice in the glass till it seperates (NOTE: This can also be fun)
Step Eleven: Eat all the ice, crunching and chomping your way through.
Step Twelve: Repeat steps one through eleven.
