Ice Chewers Bulletin Board - All about Chewing Ice

Well, looks like I’m not so weird after all! I began chomping ice in earnest about 1.5 years ago. I’ve always liked to eat ice, but the real addiction started when I discovered my office had one of those $5000 ice machines that makes the little light crunchy balls of crushed ice. (I priced it when I decided that I just HAD to have one—which is ridiculous—I’d never pay that—Even for extremely good ice! Our office relocated and we didn’t get to take the ice machine, so I was really bummed. I started searching for the perfect ice – found a couple of gas station/convenience stores that have decent crushed ice, and I’ll go WAY out of my way to get to it every day! In a pinch, I’ll make my own crushed ice or just rinse down big cubes at home with hot water until it gets small and “cloudy
