A newbie, have craved ice for a year

I'm glad I found this board. I've been craving ice for a year, after having no interest in ice before. It started around the same time I started getting night sweats (I don't get hot during the day). I've had tons of tests for the night sweats, all with no results. My iron is fine. The doctors have concluded, that barring any new symptoms, I have changing hormones that are causing the night sweats (I"m 39). Don't know about the ice craving, though. I have bad teeth, so I have to blend it in the Cuisinart to make fluffy ice.
Note: I don't eat ice when I'm hot; in fact I crave it all during the year, and I'm in the Northeast. I came in from a 1/2 hour walk in the cold the other day and immediately made ice!
