ice cubes with milk in pregnancy

My husband found this site for me. This is my second pregnancy and I've just started to enjoy a craving that I enjoyed the first time round. Crunching ice cubes in milk. Fortunately, we now have a fridge that makes the ice-cubes so feeding my new habit is easy. After a bit of research, it seems that the reason I might be doing this is iron deficiency. Now awaiting blood results for this in the next few weeks.
Interestingly, the day after I gave birth to Oscar, I tried a glass of milk with ice cubes in and it just wasn't the same. I wonder if this will happen after the birth of this baby in three weeks time.
