Just read my most extreme post to see how far I have went when I get an ice craving. Near freeing in the mountains and still eating the snow. I love snow. I'm sure lots of the rest of us on here do too.

Yes I use to eat the clean snow to. Right after it falls.
My family use to think I was crazy.

eating snow

Yes someone else out here eats snow. I'm so addicted to fresh snow that I get a pavlov's dog thing just looking at it. I have to try & quickly grab some before my neighbors see me & chow down....it HAS to be fresh snow though

Please do not eat snow

Even snow that looks incredibly clean can be dirty. Take it from someone who had two infected lymph nodes removed that eating snow is NOT a good idea.

Eating snow

Postby lresper » Thu Jun 16, 2005 4:14 pm

I eat snow when I'm home. I live in Los Angeles now so there's no snow. But, during the winter when I go home to visit and it snows, I'm the first one outside to get the fresh fallen snow. I don't know and don't care where has been since falling from the clouds.

I am so happy to have found people like me! I have been creating "snow" for myself for the last three or four years using my food processor. It started when I was driving home, and couldn't wait for the snow to fall. I went in the house, took a look at the food processor, and tried it out. I've been addicted ever since. Everyone around me thinks I'm nuts!

Yes, I love snow! :D I have a small electric ice shaver and it shaves powder fine, just like snow, and I eat shaved ice (no syrup, just ice) all day and all evening. I'm constantly freezing, but I love it.

Hey all snow eaters here's an easy solution to catch fresh clean snow : Catch the snowfall in pans, bowls. or even a large ice bin- Make sure they aren't in a location to blow over-and either fill ice trays and put in freezer to enjoy later -Yum! or eat it right out of container. Chomp chomp Yum Yum!!
Gosh I wish it would snow six inches or more here in the South as I too love snow !!
